After 7 long years, Kris Musgrove is finally out of prison, released for crimes she didn’t commit. During the hot summer, deep in the rural South, she’s now on a mission: she will re-visit every, single person who played a part in sending her away for crimes she didn’t commit; to right the wrongs and eliminate those responsible.
Along the way she meets Layla, a sultry Southern wild child that comes across Kris at the right place and the right time. Running parallel to her mission to “right the wrongs”, is Kris’ crusade to find her baby sister and release her from the jowls of a white slave syndicate.
Soon, Kris’ crusade becomes Layla’s passion and together the two set out on a journey that is unequaled in beauty, disgust, violence, and pulchritude.
People say the rural South can be cruel.
Kris and Layla will redefine cruel…which is unfortunate for the rural South.

Thought the interaction between the actors was really quite good! A bit cruel in places but it was good!
I will personally inspect every barn in the south from now on. This film looks great, and seeing bad guys get theirs never goes out of style.
I myself would love to see a cable show in which these two go around kicking ass every week.
I really enjoyed this. Being the audio geek I am, I thought that the score (and lack thereof in certain places, such as the pistol-whip sequence) was incredibly appropriate and added an almost palpable layer of intensity and purpose. Nikki and Kat had some really good dialogue. Also, excellent work on the blood splatters. The camera angles in certain shots, such as when Tracey was getting up and looking outside his house, were fantastic.

I am in awe. The grittyness and ripples of pure primal emotion are overwhelming. The visual art of this piece are worthy of a gallery – each and every frame a masterpiece of dark humanity and revenge served as a cold dish. Base and raw, it teems with grinding electricity and buzzing inuendo. A complete story that demands further telling.

I had more fun making this film then anything I’ve done so far, it surpassed my expectations…..Really hope we get to make a feature out of it so I can show you all just how nasty Buck really is!
